HOSTING ACCESS

You normally do not need to send us your main hosting password.

We prefer access that is temporary, limited and easy for you to revoke. If your provider does not support that, you can stay present during an attended remote session.

02 · ALTERNATIVE

Limited technical account

A temporary panel, FTP/SFTP or site-specific account with only the access required for the launch.

03 · ATTENDED

TeamViewer / AnyDesk

You stay present and can type sensitive credentials yourself while we configure the hosting with you.

CHECK YOUR PROVIDER

Does my hosting support temporary access?

Open your hosting control panel and look for words similar to these:

UsersTeamCollaboratorsDeveloper accessDelegated accessAccount accessInvite user

If you find one of these options, great. When the launch is scheduled, USONL provides the details you need to create the temporary access. Revoke it after the work is complete.

Prepare for TeamViewer

  1. Install or open TeamViewer from the official source.
  2. Open the remote-support/session mode.
  3. Keep it open at the scheduled time.
  4. Share the session identifier/code only when we connect.
  5. Accept the connection manually.
  6. Stay present and enter sensitive passwords yourself if you prefer.
  7. End the session when the work is complete.
  8. Do not enable unattended access for a normal USONL launch.

Prepare for AnyDesk

  1. Install or open AnyDesk from the official source.
  2. Keep the displayed session/address available.
  3. Share it only when the session starts.
  4. Accept the incoming connection manually.
  5. Stay present during the work.
  6. Enter sensitive passwords yourself if you prefer.
  7. Disconnect at the end.
  8. Do not enable unattended access for a normal USONL launch.
